DCOYA offers three types of roles: reseller-related roles, super admin roles granting access to all platform resources, and module manager roles, providing access to specific modules. Additionally, we offer two types of permissions: admin, equivalent to write access, and viewer, equivalent to read-only access. By understanding these roles and permissions, you can efficiently manage access levels, promote security, and ensure smooth operation within our platform.
Role's explanation
In our platform, roles are pivotal in managing access to different platform resources. These resources span from specific modules like phishing simulation, training, and phishing reporting to broader resources such as phishing or training insights (reports), and dynamic groups tailored for phishing or reporting purposes.
Admin: The admin role is designed to grant users unrestricted access to platform resources. This role empowers users to create or modify platform data across various resources, including Phishing and Phishing Reporting Admin.
Super Admin: As the name suggests, the Super Admin role offers users complete access to all platform resources except those related to resellers. This includes the ability to read, write, and edit data across the entire platform.
Viewer: Conversely, the Viewer role provides read-only access to platform resources. While users in this role can view data within selected resources, they are unable to create or edit it. Like other roles, viewers may be granted access to multiple resources such as Phishing Viewer and Phishing Reporting Viewer.
These roles and their associated permissions ensure that users have appropriate access levels to effectively perform their tasks while maintaining the security and integrity of the platform.
